After many years of work in television and film in Belgrade (Serbia), I continued my filmmaking career in London (England), and then later Los Angeles (U.S.A). After completing a Masters degree program in Cinematography at the American Film Institute, I worked for Film and TV production companies like FOX, Paramount, ESPN, Discovery and many more independent productions.
Encouraged by success, as a producer of TV commercials for clients such as Full Tilt Poker (FOX) and College Gameday (ESPN), I returned to Belgrade to start my own company, "April Production”, which scored advertising campaigns for some of the best known local brands like Smoki (Atlantic group), Chipsy (Pepsi Co.) and Delta City (Delta) etc.
Simultaneously, as a Director of Photography, I collaborated with other advertising productions, shooting commercials for major brands and clients such as VISA, T-Mobile, Telenor etc. I also served as Director of Photography for some of the biggest local TV series which included shows like "Sixth Sense" and also a remake of a legendary kids show from the sixties - “Letter, By Letter " (“Letter, By Letter” is majorly culturally significant in the former Yugoslavia. Just as Sesame Street is in North America.)
In early 2015 I relocated with my family to Canada. Soon after I shot two award-winning short films - “ T.I.N.A.” and “Cuddler”. I also lensed an Independent feature ”Tear us apart" and served as a 2nd Unit DP/Cam. Op. on a feature film titled, “Nursery Rhyme of a Madman”.
Throughout my career in Film and TV, I used to “wear many hats”. This allowed me to quickly establish my own boutique production here in Toronto. In no time, I was lucky to score accounts with Nissan and Molson-Coors and produce/direct/shoot numerous videos for their corporate needs. Two years ago, looking for the challenge of big scope productions, I stumbled across digital realm - renown experience production house “Jam3”. With them, I found my self producing digital content for clients such as Google, Facebook, Disney, Lionsgate etc.
If not somewhere in the field or post house, I can be found hitting the ski slopes or mountain bike trails with my beautiful wife and our two kids.
